Requirements

  • Technical school certificate or similar diploma
  • Mechanical/Engineering background and experience in Assembly
  • Working understanding of engineering drawings
  • Proficient in the use of forklifts, machines, hand/power tools needed for assembly
  • Experience in the valve industry is an advantage
  • Good skills in Chinese communication

Responsibilities

  • Adhering to all applicable EHS rules/regulations and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions
  • Performing quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering
  • Developing manufacturing technology and realizing new products and systems
  • Setting up/monitoring and operating various pieces of equipment
  • Overseeing related components according to relevant working instructions
  • Monitoring and applying settings, calibrating and maintaining assembly tools
  • Meeting delivery schedules, pre-set time for operations and quality of product
  • Looking after material movements and machine loading within the operating area
  • Associating with the manufacturing facility requirements - rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, magline, plastic extruder, PCP injection
