Responsibilities

  • Performs diversified assembly and erection operations
  • Assembles intricate large or small mechanical built products
  • Meets satisfactory performance requirements
  • Familiar with product routings and job set-up charts
  • Assembles units to close tolerances
  • Inspects units for conformity to quality standards
  • Inspects paint quality and coverage, component defects, and operation of all working parts
  • Performs required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures
  • Takes immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards
  • Participates in 5S, TPM (total productive maintenance), and other Lean Manufacturing initiatives
  • Maintains good housekeeping and completes other assignments as directed by the Supervisor
  • Works overtime as requested
