Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Age 18 years or older
- Experience and ability in using hand tools
Responsibilities
- Performs diversified assembly and erection operations
- Assembles intricate large or small mechanical built products
- Meets satisfactory performance requirements
- Familiar with product routings and job set-up charts
- Assembles units to close tolerances
- Inspects units for conformity to quality standards
- Inspects paint quality and coverage, component defects, and operation of all working parts
- Performs required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures
- Takes immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards
- Participates in 5S, TPM (total productive maintenance), and other Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Maintains good housekeeping and completes other assignments as directed by the Supervisor
- Works overtime as requested
