High school diploma or equivalent experience
1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience
Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes
Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Division-Specific Outlook and Access)
Ability to lift up to 35-40 lbs. without assistance
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair; PPE required including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs)
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team of 8-10 colleagues
Ability to analyze and address problems independently and collaboratively
Ability to assist with projects, conduct training, and work effectively in collaborative groups
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with diverse colleagues

Responsibilities

Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components
Conduct assembly work applying prescribed methods using hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment
Collect test data and use databases/office programs to detail the manufacturing process
Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions
Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance
Follow audit and safety guidelines
Participate in continuous process improvement
