Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering or Science, preferably from Physics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, and have 2-3 years of experience. Hands-on experience with physical measurement equipment such as OGP and SmartScope is required, along with proficiency in statistical analysis and understanding of GD&T principles. Knowledge of quality systems and validation methods is a plus, and open to fresh graduates with relevant certifications like ASME Y14.5-2018 is beneficial.
The AS&T Engineer will develop, execute, and document validation and qualification protocols and reports for physical measurement methods and equipment, plan and conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies, perform precise dimensional measurements on medical device components and assemblies, apply statistical analysis techniques to measurement data, participate in root cause analysis investigations, maintain accurate records, ensure testing activities adhere to quality standards, assist in training, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the medical device quality system.
