Job Description: Licensed Therapist (Remote)

Position Overview

Mantra Health is seeking independently licensed 1099 therapists to provide virtual therapy to college students across the United States. This is a fully remote position focused on revolutionizing student mental health care.

Since 2018, we have partnered with universities and colleges nationwide, including Columbia University, Texas Tech, and the Minnesota State school system. Our comprehensive treatment services, including tele-therapy, wellness coaching, and tele-psychiatry, aim to help young adults thrive. Requirements

• Licensure: Active independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) in Arkansas. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage.
• Skills: Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes with clear diagnostic assessments.
• Commitment: Minimum of 8 hours of commitment per week is requested, with the ability to flex up and down based on student volumes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, meaningful virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., MI, CBT, ACT, DBT).
• Utilize the collaboration portal to connect with students and provide support.
• Work closely with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and peers for cohesive care.
• Maintain timely and precise records of all clinical interactions.
• Partner with the administrative support team to enhance student care.
• Collaborate with leadership during critical patient scenarios.
• Become an expert in Mantra's unique care model to effectively support college students.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Start Date: Rolling starts from 8/18/25.
• Schedule Flexibility:
  • Weekday Shifts: Work anytime from 9:00 am to Midnight Eastern Time.
  • Weekend Shifts: Work anytime on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
• Minimum Commitment: 8 hours per week (on average) during the academic year.
• Compensation:
  • $74 per intake session completed (60-minute)
  • $56 per follow-up session completed (45-minute)
  • $30 for all no-show appointments
  • $60 per hour for attending monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings
