Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (master’s degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in prototyping, embedded system development, or applications engineering roles
Strong scripting and software development experience in Python
Comfortable working in embedded Linux environments
Proven experience interfacing with hardware APIs and customizing embedded applications
Experience designing and building demos or customer-facing prototypes with technical hardware

Responsibilities

Establish, organize, and manage the Infleqtion Applications Lab to support demo development and prototyping
Design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept systems that showcase the utility of quantum products in real-world scenarios
Engage directly with Sales and Business Development (BD) teams to interpret customer needs and shape product application narratives
Integrate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand internal platforms and modify them to suit market test cases
Design and implement custom software to interface existing hardware platforms, integrating diverse subsystems into cohesive, demo-ready applications
Develop simulations that demonstrate feasibility of application concepts and contribute to technical publications and white papers
Maintain and improve demo codebase and hardware infrastructure
Document prototypes, write test protocols, and assist in transferring successful applications to product teams
Support public and private demonstrations and assist in customer workshops
