Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in network/security operations roles (3–9 years preferred)
Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (must have)
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (preferred)
Strong experience in firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, and monitoring
Basic knowledge of security principles, protocols, and common threats
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway; optional but preferred)
Experience using ITSM tools for managing incidents, changes, and service requests
Expertise in L'Oréal Network topology to handle 300+ firewall change requests
15 years full-time education
One of the following certifications: Fortinet NSE Certification (e.g., NSE 4 or above) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 operations
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Process-driven approach with attention to compliance and governance

Responsibilities

Provide L2-level support for Fortinet security devices
Manage and troubleshoot security events, escalate threats as per defined protocols
Perform basic administration tasks such as policy updates, address objects, NAT rules, and VPN troubleshooting
Collaborate with L3 teams during security incidents or complex troubleshooting
Work on change requests related to firewall configurations, access controls, and security zones
Maintain accurate incident records, perform root cause reviews, and contribute to SOPs
Conduct routine health checks and validate logging, alerting, and monitoring systems
Follow ITIL-aligned service management practices for incident, problem, and change processes
Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application, defining issues and designing resolutions based on deep product knowledge
