Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience (4+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or similar roles)
  • 15 years full time education
  • Must have skills: Site Reliability Engineering
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and architecture (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Background in e-commerce platforms, preferably headless architecture
  • Experience managing global, high-availability systems
  • Proven track record in incident management and system reliability
  • Cloud Expertise: Advanced AWS knowledge
  • Platform Management: Experience with headless e-commerce architectures
  • Monitoring & Observability: Proficiency with monitoring tools and alerting systems
  • Automation: Infrastructure automation and self-healing system design
  • Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize for global scale and performance
  • Communication: Strong incident communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the reliability of our global headless e-commerce platform
  • Implement and manage observability solutions for performance monitoring
  • Design and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Optimize platform performance and scalability for global D2C operations
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and deployment practices
  • Manage incident response and post-mortem analysis processes
  • Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact
