Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT, Application support and development
IT technical background and experience
SAP Knowledge is a must, MES knowledge is necessary
Passionate about investigations including logs, monitoring, incidents, solutions
Some experience with Java error monitoring
Knowledge of Javascript and API are necessary
Some experience with Java, SAP ME, SAP MII, SAP UI5 (asset)
Some experience with HTML, Java, SAP ME, SAP MII, SAP UI5 (asset)
Some experience with SQL
Knowing SAP HANA (asset)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good team player and like to collaborate with peers
Flexible to work in shifts (including night) if/as needed and work overtime if needed
Rigorous in following and executing implementation steps
Strong written and verbal communication with a very good command of spoken and written English

Responsibilities

Provide level II incident resolution in the area of support
Document issue resolution for knowledge transfer as appropriate
Troubleshoot, analyze problems, determine the best course of action, and solve problems based upon facts, data, and logical assumptions
Work within the incident support team to provide 7x24 support, flexible to work on shifts
Keep production up and running by providing the proper incident support
Do root cause analysis for production critical incidents and taking preventive actions via collaborating with functional team and other teams
Support the operation of MES (Manufacturing Execution System): Release roll-out including PIR follow-up, transport monitoring
Support small development and testing
Do application transports when assigned
Understand data relationships and interpret basic system concepts using current documentation standards and methodologies (i.e. flow charts, data flow diagrams, etc.)
Work in partnership with global and cross-functional IT teams
