Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Global Insight Directors to run strategic analysis informing A&R, commercial, and digital strategies for UMG
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across labels, insight, and commercial teams to translate business questions into analytical approaches and insight outputs, aligning with business objectives
  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from data exploration and analysis to insight delivery and storytelling
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools to track audience behaviour, content performance, and commercial outcomes
  • Create visualisations and storytelling presentations that communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analyse trends across platforms (streaming, social media, and physical sales) to uncover actionable insights and support label strategies
  • Interpret unstructured data to develop meaningful narratives that inspire strategic decision-making
  • Address challenges of incomplete or fragmented data by finding creative ways to fill gaps
  • Explore new datasets, tools, and techniques
