Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
5+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, or a related field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and architecture
Experience with machine learning and data science techniques
Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach junior engineers
Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 5-6 analytics engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
Collaborate with other leads to deliver scalable and consistent approaches to data governance and best practices
Participate in the review cycle, architecture, and design leadership of analytics engineering projects
Develop and maintain data pipelines, architectures, and architectures
Drive effective project management of central analytics engineering projects, ensuring well- scoped and delivered projects
Establish relationships with other collectives and leadership team to drive business outcomes
Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data visualizations
Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement machine learning and data science techniques
Participate in the hiring process for analytics engineering roles
Establish a strong presence within the analytics engineering team, providing value to the leadership team
Collaborate with other leads to drive business outcomes and deliver scalable and consistent approaches to data governance and best practices
Develop and maintain relationships with other teams, including product, design, and customer success
Participate in the development of analytics engineering documentation and knowledge base
