Requirements

  • On-site position in Tipp City, Ohio (Night Shift: 6:30pm - 7:00am EST, rotating weekends)
  • Supervise a team of 3-6 employees in a multi-shift laboratory operation open 7 days per week
  • Coordinate shift team activities to deliver key performance metrics in EHS, Quality, Finance, Productivity, and People
  • Lead quality and compliance performance, including initiating, managing, and making decisions impacting product quality
  • Drive a culture of employee engagement
  • Participate in staffing activities, including securing appropriate staffing, training, mentoring, performance reviews, and assigning stretch responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe lab environment
  • Ensure lab test results comply with plant, division, and corporate guidelines and procedures, and that test methods are followed
  • Engage with employees and stakeholders to meet all EHS requirements, including internal and external regulatory objectives

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system for the Tipp City, Ohio location
  • Report directly to the Site Quality Assurance Manager or Compliance and Food Safety Manager
  • Responsible for overall results for a single shift of laboratory operations
  • Directly supervise 3-6 employees
  • Develop line personnel through training, mentoring, performance reviews, and challenging assignments
  • Assure compliance of lab test results to guidelines and procedures
