Responsibilities

Monitor import and export processes, provide and verify necessary documents, monitor bureaucratic procedures, and update process status in accordance with current legislation and internal standards
Monitor shipments with suppliers to ensure compliance with established shipping dates and agreements
Verify the accuracy of amounts on received invoices
Analyze tariffs for each process
Analyze rates from major maritime companies and freight agents, seeking the best alternative for import/export processes in terms of time and cost
Stay updated with publications of resolutions related to the area of specialization
Report cost and results information to involved areas
Receive documentation and instruct the shipment of goods for logistics, planning, and dispatch in accordance with current legislation
Monitor the registration and dispatch of goods
Supervise the contracting of pre-negotiated freight, following established procedures
Perform quotes for import and export processes
Fill out tracking worksheets to inform the logistics area about cargo progress
Request, monitor, and verify import/export payment/expense processes through the company's system
