The role involves reconciling cash balances, transactions and positions, researching and resolving differences, preparing reconciliations, and recommending operational improvements. Daily tasks include control reports, cash and position break resolution, inbox monitoring, client data maintenance, and handling subscription/redemption activity.
Required skills include the ability to prioritize and balance multiple requests, strong decision-making, multi-tasking in a high-performance environment, initiative to follow up on issues, organization, detail orientation, time management, adaptability, and strong knowledge of equity, fixed income securities, and derivatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for new applications are also needed.
A four-year degree is preferred in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Economics.
