Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or equivalent combination of education with 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Customer and data focused with strong customer service and data management experience and a passion for service perfection
  • Comfortable liaising with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Any additional languages, such as French, Spanish and Italian are an advantage
  • Ambitious, proactive problem solver, positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, and willingness to stretch and grow outside the comfort zone
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and deliver tasks as promised while maintaining high quality and consistent results
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, operating and controlling own priorities to meet deadlines
  • Reliable and trusted teammate with strong integrity and ethics. Driven to be a productive part of a high functioning, collaborative team, and to work in a high expectation and high impact environment

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the Private Equity industry and Fund structure in order to formulate questions to Fund Managers regarding transactions and financial statements and make independent judgements and formulate answers when not clearly provided
  • Gain a clear understanding of Private Equity terminology, performance metrics, types of fees and expenses
  • Understand existing reporting and cash flow processes and procedures in order to effectively use the existing quarterly report and cash flow data processing templates
  • Work with minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks independently, and know when to escalate issues
  • Independently conduct analyses of financial statements and capital account movements, extracting correct quantitative and qualitative information from financial reports
  • Be trained on reading Limited Partnership agreements, finding and summarizing information relevant to Portfolio Monitoring
  • Liaise closely with other internal departments to ensure timely accurate client reporting
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the data on the system is maintained
  • Perform any other duties commensurate with the nature and position of the post
  • Review errors, warnings and notifications created around data submitted via standardized templates, investigate these scenarios and solve them
  • Escalate identified issues if necessary, to IDS Team Lead or related IDS departments
  • Work with general partners to upload quarterly reports directly to the platform in standardized templates
  • Manage daily communications and quarterly deadlines with general managers
