  • Generalist developer able to wear many hats, working on development, client support, operations, and more
  • Experience with Python, Django, MySQL, Linux, and AWS
  • Ability to handle detailed design of features, not just coding, with vision and execution skills
  • Comfortable proposing feature ideas and shaping product direction
  • Willingness to pitch in on various tasks including support, operations, database administration, and other technical functions
  • Commitment to product quality, reliability, and responsiveness to bugs, pain points, or production issues
  • Ability to take weekly shifts answering client support tickets (at least a few hours)
  • Interest in working remotely with a small, tight-knit team
  • Appreciation for clients' progressive causes and focus on making their work more effective

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ActionKit’s codebase, including building new features, polishing, debugging, refactoring, improving efficiency, and reliability
  • Shape product direction by proposing ideas, collecting client feedback, and refining ideas into concrete plans via conversations and issue tracker
  • Work directly with clients through email support, discovery calls, writing release notes, and participating in ClientCon
  • Contribute to technical functions like operations, tooling, monitoring, performance tuning, and more
  • Collaborate with teammates through day-to-day communication, code reviews, and documentation
