Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building interactive prototypes or products, ideally at the intersection of AI and user experience, in fast-paced, experimental 0→1 environments such as startups, labs, or creative tech teams
  • Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), multimodal APIs, or other emerging AI systems
  • Strong technical skills with modern web stacks (React, TypeScript, Python) and building your own ideas end-to-end
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Framer, or custom-built frontends)
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to articulate the “why” behind experiments clearly
  • Pragmatic, motivated by nebulous problems, and excited to work in a startup environment with quick product validation cycles
  • 4+ hours of overlap time with team members in Eastern Time Zone (most team based in North American time zones)
  • Resonance with the company's mission

Responsibilities

  • Prototype new product experiences by identifying emerging AI capabilities and translating them into entirely new browser experiences that redefine how people use the web
  • Learn and de-risk what’s possible by stress-testing new AI technologies to understand when—and how—they’re ready for real product integration
  • Bridge research and product by translating complex model behavior into intuitive, human, and expressive interactions
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to craft interfaces that make AI feel accessible, creative, and genuinely useful—and communicate clearly to know when to ship to learn and when to polish to inspire
  • Augment our tools for prototyping to help us move faster and empower more in-product exploration with new AI capabilities
  • Stay ahead of the latest advancements in AI, identifying what’s relevant for our mission and turning insights into prototypes that demonstrate what the future of browsing could be
