Requirements
Candidates should possess experience building production backend systems, a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, particularly in distributed systems, and enthusiasm for AI technology and its practical applications. Experience working with LLMs in production environments and familiarity with AI model deployment and optimization are considered great to have.
Responsibilities
The AI Engineer will own critical parts of Flatfile’s AI-powered data platform by designing and implementing robust backend services that integrate with various AI models for data understanding and transformation, building fault-tolerant systems for real-time AI processing of customer data, and developing evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI features’ accuracy and reliability. They will also work closely with the product team to prototype and ship new AI capabilities, help establish best practices for AI development, and contribute to writing traditional software features and fixing bugs.
