Requirements

  • Highly skilled and experienced in AI engineering (Staff level)
  • Expertise in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable AI platform services and components for intelligent agents and LLM-powered applications
  • Proficiency in applying LLMs and other AI technologies to build and enhance intelligent features
  • Ability to build LLM-powered agents that autonomously reason through complex workflows
  • Experience developing full-stack product surfaces (backend & frontend) incorporating AI into user experiences
  • Familiarity with the AI development stack (RAG, vector databases, LLM observability, eval pipelines)
  • Experience partnering with Product Engineering teams to design ML-driven features that automate workflows
  • Skills in implementing scalable APIs and microservices exposing AI models and services
  • Ability to collaborate with core services infrastructure teams for execution, monitoring, logging, and automated evaluation of AI agents
  • Experience working closely with Data Science teams building LLMs/agents
  • Proficiency in integrating with multiple LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google) and managing model selection, routing, and fallback strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices in AI privacy, security, and compliance, including secure data handling and regulatory adherence
  • Expertise in optimizing platform performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using cloud-native technologies and distributed systems
  • Ability to stay current with advancements in AI infrastructure, agent-focused MLOps, and LLM applications

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable AI platform services and components that enable development of intelligent agents and LLM-powered applications, supporting deployment and orchestration of LLMs and other AI models
  • Apply LLMs and other AI technologies directly to build and enhance Kandji’s intelligent features, collaborating with product and engineering teams
  • Build LLM-powered agents that autonomously reason through complex workflows
  • Develop full-stack product surfaces (backend & frontend) that incorporate AI into user experiences
  • Partner with Product Engineering teams to design ML-driven features that automate IT security workflows
  • Implement scalable APIs and microservices that expose AI models and services to product teams
  • Collaborate with core services infrastructure team to support execution, monitoring, logging, and automated evaluation of AI agents, ensuring high reliability and performance in production
  • Work closely with the Data Science team responsible for building LLMs/agents
  • Integrate with multiple LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google) and manage model selection, routing, and fallback strategies for optimal performance and cost
  • Drive adoption of best practices in AI privacy, security, and compliance
