Requirements

4 - 8 years Android development experience (Application, Services, HAL, BSP in Android specific to Audio)
Expertise in OOP concepts
Expertise in Java, C, C++ development
Expertise in Kotlin (advantage)
Expertise in Android Framework API & Automotive Audio Framework usage
Expertise in Android AOSP build system
Proficiency in Audio design/architecture on multiple platforms
Hands-on experience on industry-leading SoCs in the automotive sector
In-depth knowledge of standard and time & safety critical audio features
Knowledge of Android Audio Framework, audio policy manager, audio flinger, Android HAL, media server, and audio server
Knowledge of Android Auto and CarPlay certifications and related design
Knowledge of Audio routing, echo canceller integration, DSP driver, A2B driver, Class D/AB amplifier drivers
Knowledge of Android development and debugging tools
Knowledge of Audio architecture design in hypervisor-based systems
Experience with creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents
Experience with UNIX and Linux
Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes for Project Development
Experience with realizing KPIs as per Apple (CarPlay), Google (Android Auto), and Amazon (Alexa) requirements
Certification Experience in the certification of infotainment products (APQM, ITUT and Audio Tuning)
Skills in analyzing and fixing issues in Android Framework or service layer
Proficiency with tools: GIT, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, VSCode, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity

Responsibilities
