Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Quality or Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience, including a solid background in quality-related roles within development and production environments (preferred within the automotive industry)
  • Strong background in quality management systems and advanced quality methodologies
  • Certification as Quality Auditor (e.g., ASQ, EOQ, IRCA) is an advantage
  • Trained in key quality standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
  • Proficient in the application of Quality Management and Automotive Core Tools
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why)
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and other standard PC applications
  • Fluent in English (German language is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Advanced Quality Engineers in EMEA, supporting successful product and process launches across the region
  • Drive the Advanced Quality Culture across the EMEA region by leading quality activities for new product and process launches as well as change management, following automotive APQP methodology, Clarios’ Power D3 launch process, and IATF 16949 standards
  • Guide and support your team by overcoming roadblocks and exceeding expectations
  • Ensure appropriate staffing for all active Simultaneous Development Teams (SDTs) in collaboration with Program Management and Quality leadership
  • Secure the necessary training and support for your team in Clarios’ Power D3 launch process, customer-specific requirements, and key quality tools such as FMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PPAP/PPA
  • Drive the professional growth of your team through structured development planning, regular feedback, coaching, and targeted feedback
  • Support the development of your direct reports through targeted feedback, coaching, and structured development planning
