Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis, RCCA, and CAPA
  • 3–5+ years of experience in developing PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection documentation
  • 3–5+ years of experience in supporting and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs

Responsibilities

  • Own quality across the product lifecycle: Lead the quality strategy for an aircraft system including NPI, Supplier Quality, and In-Process/Product Quality assurance
  • Support compliance & continuous improvement: Develop AS9100 and ISO9001 company standards and processes; proactively identify process gaps, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support audits
  • Manage & optimize the QMS: Act as a system owner and subject matter expert for Mach’s Quality Management System (QMS); drive compliance, traceability, and efficiency across documentation, audits, and metrics
  • Enable design & manufacturing excellence: Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate quality into every stage of the design and production process; offer insights on process risk, capability validation, and compliance to relevant standards
  • Define and refine quality tools: Develop, maintain, and improve inspection methods, test protocols, and quality documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection plans
  • Investigate & resolve non-conformances: Lead root cause investigations and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure issues are addressed and prevented from recurring
