Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test (for Carelon Health business units)
  • Ability to work onsite full-time at 4745 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Suite D, Atlanta, GA 30338 (candidates not within reasonable commuting distance not considered unless accommodation granted)
  • Availability for PRN shifts: days, Monday-Friday, covering sick call-offs, PTO coverage, and higher census days as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient check-in, registration, and checkout
  • Oversee staff and processes for check-in, including verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility updated, and current forms utilized
  • Listen and respond to patient and/or family members' concerns
  • Respond to patient questions and complaints, routing issues to appropriate personnel
  • Analyze daily administrative operations and utilization of resources
  • Assist in Medic user issues
  • Ensure proper cash controls are in place and policies/procedures are followed
