The role requires performing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care; ongoing collection and analysis of patient data pre-during-post treatment; delegation to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians; and serving as a resource, leader, coach, mentor, and role model.
The role emphasizes teamwork as a member of the kidney disease health care team, participation in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, while performing duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Strong candidates are entry-level RNs meeting CAP 2 criteria or advancing from CAP 1, with ability to perform under supervision or collaboration, deliver safe patient care across modalities, administer medications and transfusions, and mentor others.
