Registered Nurse (RN) license
Entry-level designation (CAP 1); no previous dialysis experience needed (on-the-job training provided)
Ability to work full-time, rotating days/every other weekend, rotating on-call
Flexibility to cover hospitals in Fox Valley area (Neenah, Appleton) and float to Green Bay
Shifts ranging from 8-12 hours
Ability to perform physical demands: heavy lifting, moving patients, assisting with ambulation, frequent prolonged standing
Completion of CAP requirements to advance

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-during-post treatment, document in medical record, adjust treatment plans, and notify appropriate personnel
Assess, collaborate, and document patient/family learning needs; provide initial and ongoing education
Recognize and report variations from normal patient status to health team members
Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for assigned patients across modality-specific treatments
Assess daily patient care needs and collaborate with direct and ancillary staff
Initiate and coordinate communication with FKC, Non-FKC dialysis providers, and facility personnel for continuity of care
Implement, administer, monitor, and document intradialytic transfusions, notifying of adverse reactions
Administer medications as prescribed, documenting justification and effectiveness
Initiate and assist with emergency response measures
Serve as a resource for health care team, participate in staff training and orientation
Provide specialized nursing care instruction to hospital/facility staff as needed
Assist in outpatient facilities on an as-needed basis
Perform all duties in accordance with Fresenius Kidney Care policies, procedures, nursing standards, regulations, and under supervision/guidance as applicable
Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
