Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience selling within the IT Sales Channel, with a preference for experience with the IBM software portfolio. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role demands in-depth knowledge, complex problem-solving skills, and the capacity to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Travel of at least 30% is also required.

Responsibilities

The Activation Channel Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day sales support and customer service for assigned accounts, focusing on activating and growing new IBM Automation brand accounts. This includes proactively engaging partners to drive sales, identifying and developing high-potential partners, and understanding customer requirements to offer appropriate Arrow product solutions. The role involves generating leads, qualifying prospects, managing vendor special pricing programs, and leveraging Arrow and vendor programs to progress transactions. The manager will also serve as a liaison between Arrow's internal resources, vendor resources, and customers, demonstrating a proactive approach to anticipating and communicating customer needs.
