Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable operations. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices is essential, along with experience in managing and leading teams.

Responsibilities

As the EMEA AP Team Leader, you will oversee the accounts payable function across EMEA countries, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will also lead the change and transformation, build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and internal/external partners, identify and implement process improvements, create and maintain process documentation and SOPs, hire, train, and mentor accounts payable staff, provide support during audits, oversee the monthly closing of financial records, and oversee and solve deficiencies of the process. Additionally, you will partner with strategic sourcing, production plants, and other departments to promote a modern mindset and environment in AP, supporting global proactive spend management, working capital improvement, and cash management.
