Requirements

Associate's degree required; and/or 5 years of equivalent Accounts Payable experience required
Experience in high volume accounts payable environment within a multi-billion-dollar company required
Experience in ExFlow Data C
Highly detail-oriented and highly analytical
Strong organizational skills
Solid understanding of accounts payable principles and best practices
Elevated professionalism demonstrating tempered emotions, empathy, positive intent, and integrity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
Ability to solve practical problems and manage variables with limited information or standardization
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Process purchase order invoices for overhead allocations, credit cards, and expense reimbursements while ensuring compliance with company policies
Manage outstanding invoices by analyzing historical data to accurately allocate and/or apply funds
Partner with shared service managers to ensure bills and costs are maintained, processed, and allocated appropriately
Understand contracts and how they apply to charges, catching cost changes
Monitor payment agreements, identify payment changes or increases, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Investigate, resolve, or escalate issues with in-depth documentation and recommendations based on research from customer accounts, payment reports, and contracts
Manage immediate escalations and payment holds, serving as primary liaison between vendors and sales to facilitate resolution
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the AP function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
Facilitate audit inquiries by preparing and submitting documentation as requested to drive completion of each audit request
Assist leadership of the Accounts Payable team and other team members with various research projects and/or special projects
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
