Responsibilities

The Accounting Work Study will be responsible for understanding lease set up in the property management system (Yardi) and verifying accuracy against executed lease documents, validating the accuracy of system-generated lease rent leveling calculations in accordance with US GAAP and company policies, completely and accurately processing financial activity for customers that move out, supporting internal and external audit teams, assisting with quarterly financial statement review, accurately completing monthly close within two days, and meeting all other established deadlines. Additionally, the role involves embracing data analysis tools to streamline accounting activities and utilizing various financial systems effectively, including Peoplesoft, Sigma, Smartsheet, and Yardi, as well as performing other duties and projects as assigned.
