Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a CPA certification is preferred. They should have a minimum of 7-10 years of related accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a direct management role within a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with financial reporting.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including payroll processing for US and Canadian entities, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger. They will also prepare financial statements and reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting, implement process improvements, and assist with the revenue recognition process ensuring compliance with GAAP (ASC 606).
