The Accounting Manager should possess a B.S. degree in Accounting and have at least 5 years of related work experience, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. They must be able to work US hours and be willing to work on-site at the Madison Logic physical office for the first six months, transitioning to a 2-day WFH schedule post-probation.
The Accounting Manager will support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements, while also maintaining the fixed asset subledger and coordinating with corporate IT. They will oversee the accounts payable process, facilitate weekly wire and ACH vendor payments, prepare bank account reconciliations, and assist with annual 1099 processes. Additionally, the role involves preparing sales tax calculations and return filings, gathering information for audits and tax returns, and supporting special projects, including interdepartmental initiatives and ad hoc reports.
