Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will support the Finance Department, overseeing all day-to-day accounting activities. including general ledger, accounts payable, employee expense reports, fixed assets, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, financial reporting and analysis, audit preparation, accounting policy, and process documentation and improvement. This role will report to the Controller. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day general accounting operations, responsible for general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly SEC reporting package, flux analysis and narratives for endpoint management team and Corporate SEC reporting team.
  • Support the internal and external audit process.
  • Manage full-cycle AP using Bill.com, review vendor invoice, account coding and prepare annual 1099 reporting.
  • Review and reimburse employee expense reports and ensure compliance with companies travel and expense policies, using Expensify.
  • Oversee reconciliation of corporate card statement, ensure expense are supported and properly coded and approved.
  • Prepare annual tax packages requested by Corporate Tax Department.
  • Prepare and submit property taxes and SF business taxes.
  • Train and mentor the team.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of public accounting experience or 7+ years of industry experience.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups, pivot tables and if then functions.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify and Salesforce preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Result oriented with strong work ethic and integrity.

Salary

$130,000 - $160,000 a year
