Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Controllership and accounting functions
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
  • Experience in account reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to interpret accounting standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Hybrid modality: Required to work onsite 3 times per week

Responsibilities

  • Execute General Ledger functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP conformity
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks
  • Investigate and analyze accounting transactions and contracts
  • Maintain and execute internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures
  • Collaborate with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analysis for strategic decisions
  • Support preparation of internal and external financial reports, including consolidated results analysis, drafting documents for regulatory bodies, and management reports
  • Ensure quality and compliance with strict deadlines
  • Address inquiries and ensure timely compliance with external audit requirements
  • Evaluate current accounting practices and policies, driving continuous improvements
  • Research and interpret new accounting standards, evaluate their application, and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting
