Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1-2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or accounting functions within the trading or financial services industry
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel
Excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy in work output, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
CPA or progress toward CPA designation strongly preferred
Experience with complex multi-entity structures
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Acumatica (preferred), NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Experience with OCR technology to process invoices a plus
Prior exposure to key responsibilities

Responsibilities

Full ownership of Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor management, purchase order management and AP inbox management
Lead month-end close responsibilities for one of our primary corporate entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Manage and reconcile prepaids, ensuring proper amortization, expense allocations and documentation
Maintain fixed asset records, including capitalization and depreciation schedules
Administer corporate credit card program, including monthly journal entry, support for users, administrative responsibilities and reconciliation
Perform monthly invoice accruals, for all Belvedere entities
Assist with various journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Be a liaison from Accounting to the FP&A team, to improve reporting, resolve inquiries, and align financial record keeping to FP&A budgeting
Cross-Train to support other accounting functions, including brokerage and trading PnL
Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
