Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external clients
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, and Google Sheets)
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Generate and issue invoices for services rendered
  • Regularly update Google Sheets related to AR, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
  • Perform bank and credit card monthly reconciliations
  • Review and process employees’ expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Record all transactions and expenses in QuickBooks Online
  • Verify receipts, check for completeness, and ensure proper recording of taxes
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Perform accounts payable functions as needed which include purchase orders, bill creation, and bill payments
  • Assist in month-end close processes and reconciliations
  • Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding billing and financial inquiries
