Accountant - EST Working Hours (Remote) at A1M Solutions

The basic salary is R23 500 - R29 500 monthly, plus retention bonuses.

This is a fully remote role requiring EST hours Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm EST (15h00 to 24h00 South African time, subject to daylight savings changes), including work on South African and US public holidays.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, minimum 2 years’ accounting experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online, strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent attention to detail.

The role involves joining a collaborative team in a growing South African team supporting global accounting operations, emphasizing high-quality service, precision, efficiency, and being a proactive, reliable team player.

Strong candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, at least 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel, plus key skills like analytical problem-solving, high attention to detail, organization across time zones, and being a reliable team player; a fixed fibre internet line (25 Mbps) and power backup are mandatory.
