Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategy
Originate and manage the development of projects to enhance profitability of ONEOK’s Louisiana group (e.g., major capital expansions, acquisitions, project development)
Identify prospects, lead negotiations, and prepare agreements with potential customers and/or counterparties
Coordinate multi-discipline, cross-functional teams (e.g., Facilities Design, Engineering, Environmental, Land, Legal, Accounting, Marketing, Regulatory) to produce scopes of work, identify project risks, and produce cost estimates
Evaluate economics for projects, prepare management presentations, and present investment opportunities for approvals
Conduct and participate in negotiations of business transactions, and draft definitive agreements for approved projects
Develop and maintain relationships with new and/or existing customers and other key industry representatives
Perform market and competitor analysis
Research existing contracts to identify potential profitability and liabilities
Identify gas supply and/or marketing opportunities to support strategic business plans
Help prepare for complex negotiations with potential customers or service providers (e.g., production companies, LDCs, power generation companies, natural gas gathering/processing companies, marketing companies) for new short-term and long-term transactions
Develop new relationships with potential small to mid-scale accounts and maintain effective customer relations with existing accounts
Participate in development of small to mid-scale projects to support business strategies
