About the Role

Canary Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive (AE) to join its growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for sales, a strong work ethic, and a desire to drive the adoption of Canary's solutions. The AE will be primarily responsible for generating revenue by selling Canary's SaaS offerings. With a substantial existing customer base, including major hotel companies, there is significant opportunity for growth and high earning potential for a driven AE.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed revenue quotas.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Customer Renewals, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth sales cycle and positive customer experience.
  • Proactively research and engage target accounts through various communication channels, including email, phone, social media, direct mail, and in-person meetings.
  • Work in tandem with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of an outbound sales process to support company scaling.
  • Utilize Salesforce for comprehensive lead and pipeline management, as well as sales forecasting.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a closing sales role.
  • Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is preferred.
  • Proven experience selling software solutions.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools such as Salesloft and Outreach.
