Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience with various leaves of absence to include FMLA, STD, LTD, and other leave programs and benefits management required
  • Up to 10% travel

Responsibilities

  • Manages MPC leaves of absence benefits and responsible for all administrative aspects to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws governing FMLA and Leaves of Absence in addition to various state and jurisdictional leave of absence requirements
  • Serves as point of contact for internal stakeholders to identify and provide appropriate leaves of absence benefits
  • Implements benefit policies through oversight of critical dates, timelines, required documentation and quota balances, and ensures all vested parties are informed of related employee information and impact
  • Maintains employee’s privacy and confidentiality regarding personal information and adheres to ethical, legal, and various jurisdictional regulatory standards
  • Responsible for ensuring that adequate, objective documentation has been provided to determine proper designation for leaves of absence
  • Maintains accurate system records and data for timely documentation via the leave tracking and HR systems
  • Supports related projects or assignments that support department’s strategic objectives and goals in addition to analyzing data and identifying patterns and trends
