Responsibilities

  • Support capital-related functions including operations, reporting, and analysis for AIG Japan at holding company and subsidiary levels (insurance and non-insurance)
  • Perform capital management, including capital and dividend assessment and reporting in a global environment
  • Create capital solutions and conduct capital and dividend impact analysis and planning for local and global leadership
  • Convert US GAAP budgets and projections to JGAAP
  • Support high-level capital communications: draft documents in Japanese and English, create materials for stakeholders
  • Maintain capital-related industry knowledge and compile general insurance industry financial information
  • Maintain departmental subject matter expertise for Japan regulatory requirements
  • Support global regulatory and rating agency requirements
  • Handle treasury operations: payment execution, group finance, external finance, liquidity management, cash positioning for AIG Japan service companies
