Responsibilities

  • Educate healthcare professionals on Ferring products using the products’ strategies and promotional material
  • Execute (under line manager’s guidance) the area business plan to achieve area goals, within set budgets
  • Screen accounts in the area (physicians, decision-makers/influencing professionals) to realize potential and preference for Ferring products, and prognose expected turnover and sales in the area to the Sales Manager, based on direct market analysis in the territory
  • Evaluate and correct the performance of individual medical representatives, based on set objectives through active coaching and training on the job
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts and visit details, which may involve database management
  • Build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with healthcare professionals and make use of these relationships to achieve business goals
  • Stay informed of new developments in the market, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business, and report the same to the Sales Manager
  • Monitor and ensure the use of the sales force reporting system and customer information database
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives for the area and each member of the team
