1+ year of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in receiving
Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational metrics
Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with WMS and inventory systems preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts consistently (Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM)
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
Ability to frequently sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle/grasp/twist objects, use feet for repetitive movements, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with changes in temperature/humidity, moderate to high noise levels, weekends, holidays, overtime, and 8-10 hour shifts
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise receiving operations during 3rd shift, ensuring efficient and accurate unloading, inspection, and documentation of inbound freight
Monitor and improve baseline KPIs including pallets per hour, fill rate, and shrink control
Ensure compliance with Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) procedures
Maintain payroll within budget constraints through effective labor planning and productivity management
Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and retention
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to company safety protocols
Collaborate with clerical staff to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of inbound shipments
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline receiving processes
