Requirements

  • High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to read, write and speak simple sentences in English
  • Maintain a current valid certification for forklift use
  • Regularly required to use hands; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand and walk
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the use of a hand truck or up to 500 pounds with the use of a pallet jack
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and depth perception
  • Ability to work in environments occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors or airborne particles, potentially hazardous chemicals (utilizing proper PPE), and a cold room
