Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate part production
Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications
Inspect parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators
Record the piece count and run time of production times
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring efficient machine operation and minimizing downtime
