Responsibilities

Load and unload merchandise
Check, verify, and audit merchandise and enter data into remote data terminals to ensure ordered merchandise is accurate and not damaged
Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise to be relocated to appropriate areas of the distribution center
Operate forklift-type equipment to move and store merchandise
Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report requests for needed merchandise
Fill merchandise orders by selecting and moving merchandise from active locations to conveyors, slots, or boxes
Load merchandise onto trailers from conveyors or pallets
Scan non-conveyable or non-diverted merchandise prior to loading onto trailers
Check merchandise to ensure shipments are accurate, undamaged, and loaded onto the proper trailer
Perform general housekeeping duties
Perform varied duties based on department assignment, which may change depending on distribution center needs
