Requirements

  • Pursuit of a Post Secondary Education with a Co-op component preferably (3rd or 4th year)
  • Able to work 40 hours per week in Canada for 8, 12, or 16-month term (2-4 consecutive semesters) starting Winter 2026
  • Willing to work in a plant environment and flexible hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs)
  • Enrolled in a Co-op or Internship Program and meet the program’s eligibility requirements
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada now or in the future (no sponsorship required)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly represented employees in a unionized environment
  • Implement Health & Safety laws, and promote a safe work environment
  • Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved every day
  • Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvements
  • Effective use of personnel, material and equipment
  • Align with terms of local and national labour agreements
  • Maintain department records and complete various administrative tasks
  • Supervise and achieve business plan objectives and targets
  • Shift rotations and flexible to work weekends and overtime as required
  • Reducing costs, eliminating waste, and improving safety practices
  • Collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with industry leaders, attending professional trade events, and volunteering for community service activities
