Requirements

Pursuit of a Post Secondary Education with a Co-op component preferably (3rd or 4th year)
Able to work 40 hours per week in Canada for 8, 12, or 16-month term (2-4 consecutive semesters) starting Winter 2026
Willing to work in a plant environment and flexible hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs)
Enrolled in a Co-op or Internship Program and meet the program’s eligibility requirements
Legally entitled to work in Canada now or in the future (no sponsorship required)

Responsibilities

Supervise hourly represented employees in a unionized environment
Implement Health & Safety laws, and promote a safe work environment
Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved every day
Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvements
Effective use of personnel, material and equipment
Align with terms of local and national labour agreements
Maintain department records and complete various administrative tasks
Supervise and achieve business plan objectives and targets
Shift rotations and flexible to work weekends and overtime as required
Reducing costs, eliminating waste, and improving safety practices
Collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with industry leaders, attending professional trade events, and volunteering for community service activities
