Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business with interest in healthcare (rising junior or rising senior preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Enthusiastic, curious, coachable, eager to learn more
  • Detail oriented, well organized, collaborative
  • For Parsippany-based roles: Expected to work no less than 4 days at the site in Parsippany, New Jersey, on days in conjunction with assigned team; may work 1 day per week remotely
  • Ability to complete the entire 10-week program (from May 26, 2026 to July 31, 2026) and commit to 37.5 hours per week
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; college transcript required (must mail official transcript by application deadline)
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. based college or university
  • Enrolled in either an undergraduate (Bachelor’s), graduate, MBA, JD, PharmD, or PhD program
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without a need for sponsorship/CPT/OPT now or in the future
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date

Responsibilities

  • Join internal and external business partner meetings and contribute to initiatives and research projects through notetaking, synthesis of ideas, and insight generation
  • Support the marketing team in the development and execution of key brand initiatives, including assisting with 2 tactical projects designed to enhance sales force engagement, field effectiveness, or digital marketing
  • Participate in the brand planning process and leverage research insights to inform future strategies
  • Assess current NPP tactics and research vendors who can bring forth innovative marketing and customer engagement approaches. Deliver a recommendation, with summary of findings and prioritization of vendors for Ferring Specialty Care to consider for 2027 business planning across specialty care portfolio
  • Conduct a tactical audit of all current sales force materials and compile a comprehensive presentation outlining available resources, key messages, and opportunities for enhancement
  • Research and provide a point of view on innovations and trends in one of the specialty care disease states to include provider, site of care and/or pharmaceutical industry trends to inform future tactical recommendations
