Requirements

Solide expertise technique en science des polymères, chimie des hydrogels, biomatériaux ou textiles intelligents
Connaissance des matériaux réactifs aux stimuli et de leurs modes de fonctionnalisation (réponse à l’humidité, concentration ionique, température ou lumière)
Expérience des techniques de fabrication : polymérisation, intégration de nanocomposites, traitements de surface ou impression 3D de matériaux souples
Antécédents en recherche appliquée ou en développement de produits dans les domaines de la science des matériaux, des dispositifs biomédicaux ou des textiles intelligents
Esprit entrepreneurial : motivé·e par l’incertitude, rapide dans l’exécution et enthousiaste à l’idée de bâtir une entreprise à partir de zéro
Excellentes compétences en communication, capable d’interagir aussi bien avec des experts techniques qu’avec des clients et investisseurs
(Atout) Expérience antérieure en startup ou en recherche translationnelle

Responsibilities

Développer et perfectionner des prototypes démontrant les avantages uniques des maillages réactifs (ex. : vêtements imperméables mais respirants, doublures de casques auto-régulatrices, matériaux de tentes adaptatifs, membranes médicales)
Traduire les méthodes de fabrication des hydrogels (revêtement, imprégnation, synthèse IPN/semi-IPN, structuration 3D) en procédés industrialisables
Mener une phase de découverte clients afin d’identifier les besoins critiques dans les marchés cibles (équipements de plein air, santé, filtration, etc.)
Collaborer avec l’équipe de TandemLaunch pour définir la stratégie de mise en marché, valider les parcours réglementaires et sécuriser les premiers clients
Recruter et diriger une équipe technique fondatrice composée de chimistes des polymères, d’ingénieurs matériaux et de designers produits
