Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with over 2 years in Java development for internet applications or large financial systems. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related majors is required. Proficiency in Java 8, familiarity with Java multi-threading, high concurrency, and network communication is essential. Candidates should be familiar with design patterns and Domain Driven Design, and have experience in designing large-scale distributed systems. Mastery of server technologies to optimize service response and data queries is necessary, along with proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases. Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot, HTTP, TCP/IP protocols, and REST specifications is required, as well as experience with build tools like Gradle/Maven and Docker clusters.
Responsibilities
The Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with frontend engineers to build payment applications on third-party platforms. They will design and develop backend systems based on Domain Driven Design and establish internal coding standards. Familiarity with Airwallex's payment platform and third-party API documentation is necessary to maintain application reliability. The engineer will regularly collaborate with customers and financial partners for seamless integration and support. They will work with the product team to understand business needs and provide innovative technical solutions.
