This role is a critical leadership position within Cognizant's Consulting Services, focused on Workday Integrations. The Senior Manager will provide expert guidance and support to the Consulting management team, sales team, and project teams. This individual will act as a liaison between the consulting team and executive management, assisting with sales activities, identifying business needs, and ensuring consultant well-being.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-7 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a virtual team for 3+ years.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
- Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
- Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants, ensuring adherence to Workday processes and the Cynergy Implementation Methodology.
- Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
- Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence.
- Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities.
- People Development:
- Serve as a mentor and coach.
- Analyze team skills and provide for cross-training to maintain team’s ability to staff projects appropriately.
- Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability.
- Performance Management:
- Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process.
- Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of projects for the entire team.
- Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members, assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis.
- Drive the bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team.
